Description of the vulnerability

The OpenPGP format use packets which can be compressed.

GnuPG uses input/output buffers, with filters to decompress data on the fly. However, the iobuf_push_filter2() function of the util/iobuf.c file does not limit the number of successive decompressions.

An attacker can therefore generate an infinite recursion in the I/O Filter of GnuPG, in order to trigger a denial of service.
