Description of the vulnerability 

The U3D (Universal 3D) format is used to represent graphic objects in 3D.

When a PDF document contains a malformed U3D object, a memory corruption occurs.

An attacker can therefore create a malicious PDF document, and invite the victim to open it, in order to execute code on Adobe Reader version 9. Protections included in versions 10 limit the attack.
