Description of the vulnerability

The F5 BIG-IP product offers traffic management functions.

However, when management is enabled in a virtual server, some sequences of TCP packets trigger a fatal error.

An attacker can therefore send specially crafted packets TCP to an F5 BIG-IP device, in order to make it halt.
