Description of the vulnerability 

The hw/display/vmware_vga.c file of Qemu emulates the vmware-vga display.

However, the handling of rectangle areas can be used to corrupt the memory.

An attacker can therefore generate a memory corruption in vmware_vga.c of Qemu, in order to trigger a denial of service, and possibly to execute code.
